Synopsis

This Title sequence gets inspiration from Blade Runner 2049, using very saturated renders and a reduced colour palette to achieve the overall sci-fi look. The sequence follows the journey of a robot discovering its own consciousness. Using After Effects.photoshop and C4D, I created cosmic scenes with planets and landscapes. I then animated these elements to set the stage for the robot's exploration.
Concept
Sinapsys is a reflection on the relationship between concept of AI and human.
As a motion designer and VFX artist, I crafted the title sequence for "Sinapsys" inspired by Blade Runner 2049.
The robot scenes were made in Cinema 4D and Redshift. Redshift's environment helped me achieve atmospheric effects similar to Blade Runner landscapes. The color palette was chosen to resemblance a similar look.
Scene Breakdown
Working on the title sequence for "Synapsis" was an exciting challenge. I started with preset assets in Cinema 4D and used Mixamo for the robot's walking animation. Redshift's render engine helped achieve the moody, sci-fi atmosphere.
In After Effects, I used Video Copilot’s Optical Flares for realistic light effects and Red Giant’s Magic Bullet Looks for color grading, capturing that Blade Runner 2049 vibe.
